Goblin launcher ogres that I designed a few months ago for Dragon Trappers Lodge, on the occasion of the release of The Scrap Slap Goblin Tribes. Beyond the pleasure of designing monsters with so many mechanical, dynamic and organic components, I have a special memory of the couple of days of work spent on these particular pieces. I spent the first day, a very hot October day, drawing analogue in the countryside with colleagues and friends, each busy with their own work, and the closeness, advice and brainstorming meant that original ideas came out. Working alone certainly helps concentration, but something more is generated in a group.
